It’s always an honor to be mentioned in Martha Stewart Weddings. We had a blast working on this wedding, and I’m happy to finally share some photos with you – long over due, I know!
Christen and Billy are such wonderful and creative people, and it was a highlight to work with them and to help bring their desert wedding to life. The wedding was held at Désert Aerie near Joshua Tree National Park – a perfect location for a bride who had been visiting the desert since childhood. Bash, Please really knocked it out of the park. No detail was left unnoticed – from the signage of the cocktail menu to the stunning neon sign they lit at dusk reading, “love is vast and infinite.”
Bright orange protea, wax flower and air plants contributed to the dessert vibe, though the wind made set up a little interesting. Some of the vases had a mind of their own and flew right off the table when we weren’t looking! We also hung a beautifully crocheted cloth above them in the structure where they were married, a keep sake that is now housed in their living room.
I’m happy to say that this is only part one of the couple’s celebration. I can’t wait to show you what we did for their reception the following day in Palm Springs. Stay tuned for more!
