For those of you who may not know, I write a little column for Desighlovefest called Florals In Your Space. In this latest installment, I was honored to work with CHAY, a beautifully curated shop here in L.A. It was so fun to walk in and be inspired by all of the household goods and other handcrafted items made by local artists.
I decided to make a wild, California-inspired wreath of foxglove, poppy and heather (even though it literally died five minutes after I made it!) I just loved the way the wildflowers accented all the clean lines of the space. I also made several delicate floral bundles of dusty miller, heather, and more white poppies, and placed them throughout the shop. Kimberly Genevieve did such a great job of capturing the vibe, don’t you think?
Chay Wike is the lovely and talented owner of the shop. She was so hospitable and wonderful to work with. If you haven’t stopped by yet, I highly recommend a visit!
Be sure to check out the original post for more info and photos. In the mean time, I’ll just be over here dreaming of fox gloves and wishing that they were still in season (sigh).
