I was recently featured in Martha Stewart’s list of top floral designers around the country, and the little girl inside of me – you know, the one who idolized Martha Stewart growing up and dreamed of throwing Martha-approved dinner parties (well, I still do) – just couldn’t believe it.
The holidays are over and I’m happy to announce that baby Henry is finally here! It’s been quite an adjustment, but he’s been a trooper. He’s been tagging along with me to the market and hanging out with all of us at the studio, all cute and snuggly in his rocker. It’s hard getting anything accomplished when all I want to do is slip away and hold that sweet little boy.

I can’t believe Thanksgiving is in a few days. Where has the time gone? I’ve been sitting in the studio this morning looking through photos from last year and came across a photo shoot that is very near and dear to my heart.
Unlike the cold, windy weather in Joshua Tree, Christen and Billy’s reception the following day was a full on desert oasis at the Ace Hotel in Palm Springs. Guests spent the afternoon lounging by the pool, which included inflatable swan rafts, a giant inflatable T-rex, and several floating mandalas that we created with tropical foliage.
